A 12 year old Dundalk boy- Elliot Kwelele has emerged the New Irish Dancing Champion following

a stiff competition held at City West Dublin on 23 June. It has been a wonderful year for Elliiot who also came third at the world Championship competition held earlier this year and in the previous edition. Elliot is also a two-time Ulster Champion and currently holds the title. He is passionate and committed to his studies at CBS, Dundalk and would practice six days a week, attend dance class three times a week too!

Elliot will be joined in Glasgow in 2018 with Emily Duffy, Sarah lee and Abbey Dunne ( all from McGee school of Irish dance) at the World Champion competition. On a chat with eDundalk, Elliot was excited and determined to be the World Champion.

Elliot lives in Dundalk with his Nigerian born-Irish parents (Michael & Judith) and siblings.

Congratulations from all of us at eDundalk to Elliot and his very supportive family!
