Salome Mbugua Henry is set to run as an independent candidate for Irish Senate. Salome was nominated for Senate on Administrative Panel by Immigrant Council of Ireland and her campaign was launched on Wednesday 11 March 2020 in Dublin.
Ireland 🇮🇪 is about to witness yet another turning point in their political history. Salome has over twenty years of experience in international and community development, gender and equality and many more. In 2018, she was appointed Commissioner for Irish Human Right Commission by President D Higgins. She is the founder of first Migrant women led non-governmental organization in Ireland called AkiDwA. Salome has so much in her plates and the time is ripe to see her in the executive arm of the government.
