On Saturday 24th March, 100 migrant community leaders from around Ireland will gather for an unprecedented mobilisation event in Dublin. The event is aimed at

boosting migrant participation in politics and specifically in the Local Elections in 2019. Support will be provided on how to engage people more in local politics, voter registration and how migrants can run for local election. If you are a leader or influencer in your migrant community and you are interested in attending the event, please send an e-mail ASAP entitled ‘Migrant Mobilisation Event’ to This email address is being protected from spambots. Please reply ASAP if you are interested as places are limited. David Stanton TD, Minister for Equality, Immigration and Integration, will speak at the event. Note: The event will run from 11:00am to 4pm in The Atrium, Department of Justice & Equality, 51 St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2. Transport costs can be reimbursed.
