Okezie Emuaga for Balbriggan Ward local election

I am a parent to 5 children including 2 Special Needs Children and your new, strong, local voice that will work hard for policies that galvanises our diverse residents into Building Balbriggan

Together (Balbriggan, Balrothery and Skerries areas). For a community of almost 26,000 where 1 in 5 is a migrant, Balbriggan Ward is grossly lacking in recreational facilities for swimming, music and bowling for youths; relaxation for the elderly and the sick; intercultural mobilization; and employment and third-level education near home. Consequently, we are disadvantaged, some are bored into antisocial activities and the blaming of one another. Please give me your No 1 vote on 24th May 2019 Local Election so that I work hard:
For adequate recreational/leisure/entertainment facilities and orientation programmes/training that drive responsible living in the community.
For adequate services and support for the sick, families and children living with disabilities and special needs.
For Location of factories and high-volume employers in the ward to reduce travel times.
Here are some of the experiences that prepared me to work as your Councillor:
Fine Gael Local Area Representative for Balbriggan for 18 months.
PhD Candidate majoring on actor coordination for effective disaster relief delivery.
Crosscare Ireland Legislative shadow for Noel Coonan TD in Irish Dail 2013.
Volunteer with St Vincent de Paul shop and the Supervisory Committee of Balbriggan Credit Union, and 5 other Irish NGOs
Past member of Board of Management St Teresa’s Primary School
Founded Royal Friends Club in 2009 – Building stronger communities
Former member of Fingal Public Participation Network
Committee member of Fingal Economic Enterprise and Tourism Strategic Policy Committee.
Leader of Men’s Fellowship that built the current worship centre of Sanctuary for All Nations, RCCG, Drogheda 2007-2009.
