...connecting people to opportunities, impacting life.

About us
eDundalk was initiated in 2012. The website was first developed in 2013 and was officially launched in 2014 by then Senator Mary Moran. Our task is to help tackle employment challenges faced by Black Irish Africans and Black Africans living in Ireland. Irrespective of imported qualifications and upgrades in Irish educational system, there remained a celling bar for progress and promotion. According to ESIRI and Equality Authority in Irish Independent (2013), “Black Africans have the highest rate of unemployment and the lowest rate of employment; this group also reports the highest rates of discrimination both in the workplace and when looking for work.” We identified this as a huge problem and believed that we can help to solve this. We therefore, began to build bridges.
